Enjoy your stay in the Isadora Duncan Suite of the Villa Amalia
Villa Amalia (4*)
in Opatija, located alongside the famous Lungomare coastal promenade, was the favourite venue of the legendary American dancer Isadora Duncan, who is considered the ‘mother of modern dance’.
Isadora loved Opatija and would spend her time in the Villa Amalia, the annexe to the town’s oldest hotel, the Hotel Kvarner. She used to stay here with her husband, the world-famous poet Sergei Yesenin. Opatija was an inexhaustible source of inspiration to her, and she got the idea for her dance movements from observing the beautiful palms that grow around the villa.
In honour of this great artist, one of the suites in the Villa Amalia has been decorated in a special way and named the Isadora Duncan Junior Suite. This spacious and elegant suite with a charming balcony on the side facing the sea is ideal for enjoying a premium holiday. The suite has a modern bathroom with a bathtub and shower for complete relaxation. All the services and facilities of the nearby Hotel Kvarner are available to guests who want to enjoy a holiday in style.
If the story of the gifted dancer Isadora Duncan inspires you, we suggest you take a short break in Opatija in the Isadora Duncan Junior Suite and have a relaxing and stylish holiday.
